I Struggled Too...
I remember looking in the mirror crying because I hated my body
Asking God why didn’t he make me slim and pretty
I was depressed, full of anxiety and enslaved to my emotions
I felt like God didn’t hear me, that he had made my life torture
I began to journal my desires every day
Days turned into weeks
Weeks turned into months
Months turned into years
I wanted to be better
I knew that it was obtainable… it just felt so far out of my reach
It wasn’t that better was out of reach for me, I just had to CHOOSE better first
I stopped equating my beauty to my size
I began building daily habits to help me lose weight
I surrounded myself around Godly community to learn the beauty of my sufferings
I challenged my perspective and disassembled my mental state of comfortability
Better was knocking at my front door and all I had to do was let it in…
Then I began to evolve
I learned that I didn't have to have it all figured out
I had to stop saying “one day” and finally choose my DAY ONE
